| Our ‘Raffaele T.Moro Leggero’ double strap monks from our summer collection are handcrafted on an Italian shoe last by skilled artisans in our manufactory in Italy. The classic men’s shoe is handcrafted in a light-weight construction which is perfect for summer: the shoes have a leather sole made of soft greased leather with welt, handmade rotellato and stitched in the blake method. Due to this construction, the shoe has more flexibility. The double strap monks with full-brogue detail are crafted from high-quality calfskin with a three step finish created by hand: in the first phase, the first layer of colour is made with pomade which is brushed and ironed. In the next phase, a colour ointment is worked into the leather and afterwards brushed and ironed. In the third phase, the leather is waxed for the finishing and the colour is polished.
